Background

Organisations’ image and effectiveness depends a great deal on ethical value, culture, and good governance. Requirements of integrity in management, significance of civic professionalism and observance of a code of good conduct are critical factors in institutionalising ethical behaviour. Unethical managerial practices undermine organisations’ accountability to stakeholders. There is a great need to continually reinforce ethical values in human institution. This will help actualise ethical corporate citizenship.
