Background

With the growing complexity of the investment market issues such as corporate governance, investor protection has become dominant.  A detailed regulatory structure has come into existence to address these issues.  An insurance company executives need to familiarise themselves with the regulatory framework and its implications for the Insurance Investments.

 

Objectives

•    To enable insurance investment manager to familiarise themselves with the regulatory framework in the investment market.

•    To acquaint investment managers with the key provisions of Insurance Act, IRDA Regulations, SEBI Act, regulations and other relevant laws.
