Background

Today, organisations are heavily dependent on Information technology for efficiently carrying out  business activities. There is a increasing demands of new hardware and software  for running  business. IT managers are supposed to prepare budgets and specifications of hardware and software requirements every year and take decisions about purchase. It is observed that most of decisions of purchase are taken by considering opinions from vendors. There is a need to equip IT managers for taking purchasing decisions independently.
