The
Year to “We Prove” at NIASOM Getting into fourth year after launching most awaited MBA Programme with insurance focus, the school dreams to provide the global insurance market with insurance executives having – As inquisitive like a four year child ready to learn anything and everything new he comes across, mind as open as the sky to accept new ideas, heart as soft as butter to deal with services for those facing battle of life and death, brains having focused on the specifics of insurance business problems facing the industry today, equipped with sharp skill sets to cut across multiple dimensions of decision making, the requisite knowledge to gear up the traditional insurance into most modern processes and strong muscles to fight with demanding and strenuous work patterns of the global markets. To ensure that our dreams come true,
students have opportunities to learn
on our Moguli tables in open garden, by organizing annual events
like several
management fests, business quiz competitions, and series of sports
events. For the first time in the insurance industry, a forum was
created for the Human Resource Executives of the insurance industry to
meet and spell out the important challenges the industry is facing, such
as – availability of adequate and high quality young entrants to take
up the complex tasks of risk management in specialized areas and the
ability to retain talent within the organizations. Insurance Summit of
the school has set a platform in the insurance industry for the top
management, industry experts, academicians and students to share their
experiences, new ideas and learning from global happenings. The most appreciated insurance and management journal of the school “Pravartak”, will be publishing a special anniversary issue “Insurance and Disaster Management” in association with National Disaster Management Association (NDMA), Government of India. Our students have been invited to present papers on various seminars and conventions at IIM Ahmadabad, IIM Banglore, IIM Kozhikode, FMS Delhi, IFMR Chennai and to participate in Asia Insurance Review International Seminars, UTI Seminar, in the CEO round table of PFRDA. School is moving
towards greater heights in terms of placement and had Ninety five
percent of our students placed on Day zero with seventy five percent
having multiple offers in global companies like – Reliance General and
Life, GIC Re, ICICI Prudential, Tata AIG, ITGI, SBI Life, UTI AMC,
Cognizant Technologies and WIPRO Technologies, Marsh, AON, K M Dastur.,
PNB Pricipal and Cholamandalam M S . It is time now for
our students to prove their Best and
the school in the field adding value to their professional careers and
bring more laurels to the school. |
