In institution building,
perception is reality. The image we create through the perception of the
stakeholders determines the success of our effort. Luckily, this isn't
very difficult if we know what to do and how to do it. Recent
accreditation by NAAC bears testimony to this assertion. Getting to the
top grade of NAAC was not easy but more hard work waits to improve over
the top.
To create a positive perception
and convince the stakeholders to like our services by way of
comprehensive and full-spectrum training in insurance and risk
management we must believe that our delivery will become successful in
influencing practice here and now to the advantage of user entities. We
believe in our work!
Enthusiasm is contagious! To
gain public awareness and publicity we must be enthusiastic and
energetic about what we deliver in our classrooms or on-campus. People
love to be around people who make them feel good about themselves and
about life. We are an enthusiastic academy and the participants are
attracted to this academy and more likely to feature the academy in
their discussions with others who matter.
To stand out in the promoter and
user minds we need a good hook. We develop creative and unique training
campaign with at least Afro-Asian if not global appeal. In our society,
who we know gets us ahead faster than anything. We never know who is
influential or who knows whom. In the case of the insurance industry,
many executives know others in varied fields. Our coordinators and
employees are humble and courteous and remember to say thank you to
anyone who helps us. This demeanor creates a positive marketing image
for us. We do not publicize but we never forget the might of public
relation coupled with tangible performance.
If we truly have the belief in
our academy then why should we stop marketing, promoting and emphasizing
our idea until we reach the level of success we deserve? We don't allow
rejection and obstacles to convince us to quit. We continue to persist
until we overcome the obstacles! Obstacles are what we see when we take
our eyes off our goals.
Armed with institutional
accreditation of quality for all activities including NIASOM for MBA
education, NIASEE for Executive Education, NIASPD for producer
development and of course our brand of mainstay insurance training, we
are into serious business but with fun. For an empowered National
Insurance Academy, this is the year of “We venture” under our now
well-known “We Series”. Once we roll-on, we have the urge to reach
our annual milestone as enshrined in this training calendar for the year
2008-09.
