Background

The financial sector has witnessed a tremendous growth in the last few years. Insurers need to acquire and sharpen their skills in developing insurance products to cater to the needs of this sector. Financial Risk Insurance is also a high exposure business. Reinsurance and Insurance Derivatives offer mechanisms to reduce or transfer a portion of the risk assumed by the direct insurers. This programme aims to introduce the basic principles and techniques of Financial Risk Insurance, Reinsurance and Insurance Derivatives.
