WORKSHOP ON MULTIPLE DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL
MANAGEMENT (LIFE) (Exclusively
for LIC of India) Background Traditionally,
LIC, like most of the industry worldwide, has been banking solely on the
agency sales force. But markets all over are abuzz with innovation and
diversification. Restrategising distribution is increasingly going to
decide the success for insurers. The limiting conventionality and (often)
perceived helplessness of the concerned operating controllers/managers
must be rooted out/replaced. Also, the Officers (himself/herself)
may need to be re-positioned for enhanced effectiveness. This
programme aims to discuss not only the existing control systems for
alternate distribution channels and its adequacy/inadequacy but also
deliberate on optimally layered and positioned facilitating points for
such channels. Objectives
