P339 – PROGRAMME ON NETWORK ARCHITECTURE & MANAGEMENT UNDER MPLS – VPN (NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED)

 

 

Background:

Network architecture is the design of a computer network.

 

Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a standards-approved technology for speeding up network traffic flow and making it easier to manage. MPLS is well suited to the task as it provides traffic isolation and differentiation without substantial overhead.

 

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a private communications network often used within a company, or by several companies or organizations, to communicate confidentially over a non-private network.

 

Objectives:

After completion of this programme, participants will be able to integrate their own network with MPLS and able to create VPN for secured data transmission.
