P364 – PROGRAMME ON  FINANCIAL AWARENESS (LIFE)

Background

The paradigm shift in the selling pattern of life insurance products from the conventional ones to the financial ones has changed the face of  life insurance companies in India in last 4-5 years.  Customer preferences have undergone dramatic changes in favour of quicker and higher returns on their policies rather than going for safety of investments and pure risk oriented Plans.  Hence  there is a paramount need  for the managers in the life insurance industry to understand the Financial  markets, the nifty sensex,  retail financial products, finance arithmetic etc.  They have to appreciate the characteristics of the products in terms of return, risk, liquidity and tax benefits.  This background leads to the organizing of  programmes on Financial  awareness.
