P370 –  PROGRAMME ON WEBLOGIC – ORACLE / JAVA FOR D/W, EDMS

Background:

The BEA WebLogic Platform is a unified, simplified, and extensible platform for developing, deploying, and managing enterprise applications. It is a standards-based platform supporting Java and web services specifications, and offers a rich framework for integrating with third-party application packages. These two characteristics make it easy to rapidly build, deploy, manage, and integrate enterprise-class web services using the BEA WebLogic Platform.

WebLogic framework abstracts complexity from the underlying software, simplifying the development of complex tasks and enhancing developer’s productivity for all aspects of the project. It is unified management architecture, empowering developers and administrators to realize business objectives in an environment that is populated by distributed, heterogeneous technologies and platforms.

Objectives:

After completing this training, participants will be able to develop applications by using BEA WebLogic, Java and Oracle.

Contents:

• BEA WebLogic: building blocks, WebLogic Workshop IDE, and other related WebLogic Technologies

• Java: Essentials, O-O Programming, J2SE / J2EE, JDBC programming

• Oracle: Essentials, SQL, its integration with Java

• Design & Development of prototype applications by using above mentioned technologies through various lab-exercises

• The detailed syllabus will be finalized in consultation with LIC

 (LIC will make the relevant software tools (and data if need arises) available for this training in order to best meet this training to their expectations)

Participants’ Profile:

Selected AAO (Prog), AO (IT), Asst. Secretary, Secretary and Manager of IT Department from Central Office, Zonal Office, Divisional Office , Branch Office and Training Centers.

Note: Prior knowledge of Programming is essential.
