Background:

Customer centric culture is one of the most important business drivers of today. As a result Customer Relationship Management has become one of the key functions in an organization.

Insurance companies have large number of customers. Understanding them, individualizing them, predicting them and maintaining delighting relationship with them require handling of large volume of data in innovative and intelligent way.

Cybernetics provides many techniques extremely useful in handling these emerging requirements. With the advancements in Information Technology, they are now easy to use. Data mining, Simulation, Artificial Neural Network, Game theory etc. are some of the techniques that are already in-built in quite a few Business Intelligence Software. Some of the business organizations have made significant advancements in their innovative use, while many are using them just as a reporting tool.
