Joined
National Insurance Co. as specialist cadre officer in the year 1980.
Since then worked in various capacities and at various places at National
Insurance Co. for a period of over 27 years.
Worked as Divisional Manager/ Sr. Divisional Manager and in marketing
function for a period of over 14 years. The
specific work areas are mainly marketing/ technical dept., looking after
underwriting and claims of marine and miscellaneous dept., fire and engineering
dept. etc. Also have wide
experience in marketing of general insurance products, techno-marketing etc. Was heading technical dept. of Ahmedabad R.O. as Regional
Manager before joining NIA in January 2008.
Also worked as in-charge of Regional Training Centre of NIC, Pune and
Chennai office. Has served as
Manager for Nepal of NIC’s foreign branch, for a period of over 2 years.

General Insurance technical subjects – Miscellaneous, Health Insurance, RNTB, Marine, Fire, Engineering and Techno-marketing.
