Experience

Joined as first Veterinary Officer of General Insurance industry in the year 1977 in the first batch of specialist recruits of United India Insurance Co. Ltd., Chennai.

Worked in various capacities right from Branch Manager/ Divisional Manager/ Senior Divisional Manager and also got exposed in Regional Office and Head Office Marketing Department for more than 26 years. Had been in Techno- marketing side vis-à-vis in design and development of many products in the rural insurance, micro-insurance, personal lines insurance, agriculture / crop insurance sector ; Also handling MSD, Accounts and Estate Departments of Regional Offices.

Areas of Interest

All rural insurance including Crop Insurance, personal line insurance policies (PLI) and marketing of mass based micro insurance schemes and social sector insurance schemes, retail marketing strategies and micro health insurance and environment issues.
