VACANCIES
National
Insurance Academy constantly updates its faculty resources.
Soon we shall
invite one faculty at the level of Lecturer / Sr. Lecturer / Assistant
Professor / Associate Professor depending on the situation of the selected
applicant. For the purpose following specialization is a core
requirement:
Human
Resource Management, knowledge of IT and Risk Management may be advantage.
Indicative Age:
Below 50 (without Ph.D.)
Below 55 (with Ph.D.)
Experience
should be commensurate with age. Applicants may be offered positions below
or above the level applied if they are otherwise found suitable but the parity
requirement at the Academy demands such adjustment.
Qualifications
should be UGC / AICTE compatible for such positions.
Experience, communication skill, market image, capacity to work in a
multi-cultural environment and academic entrepreneurship will be some of the
criteria to decide the suitability of the candidate for this Academy of
excellence. Administrative
expertise in a student and academic environment, knowledge about domain b-school
culture, persuasive / relationship skills and commitment to work in unstructured
hours in a growing institution will be helpful and guiding criteria to select
some candidates.
The
Academy offers pay and other facilities at par or even better than prime
institutions like IIMs and offers opportunity for action research, consulting
and conducting international programmes abroad depending on acumen.
Though the
applications will be evaluated continuously, the cut-off date will be 28th
July 2008.
The Academy reserves the right to relax any of the conditions for candidates
found deserving on some critical parameters.
The
candidates in other disciplines may also apply but the Academy may not commit
any vacancy at present for such positions – but in a growing academy like
this, vacancies may arise soon.
