Mr. Jyoti Kumar Sen

Sri Jyoti Kumar Sen was born on the 29th of May 1960 in Delhi. He did his graduation in B.Sc(Hons) in Chemistry from the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, at Delhi. Thereafter he completed his M.Sc in Chemistry followed by M.Tech in Solid State Technology, both from the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) at Chennnai.

He joined the Life Insurance Corporation of India as a direct recruit officer in 1985. In a career spanning 25 years, he has held several important positions including that of Marketing Manager of Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram divisions and Senior Divisional Manager of Udupi and Mysore divisions, respectively. Before joining the NIA as its first Chief Administrator, he was the Regional Manager of LIC’s South Central Zone consisting of the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka for the new insurance distribution channel, the Chief Life Insurance Advisors’ Scheme started by the LIC in 2008.

A native of Kerala, he is extremely fond of animals and also enjoys cooking as a hobby.
