Transportation Arrangements:
On arrival in Pune, participants may avail of a fixed route bus service between NIA campus and LIC Divisional Office located near Hotel Pride Executive, University Road, Shivajinagar, Pune 5, to reach the campus. The
timings of these services are given below.
Participants are free to make the use of this facility on their arrival-departure for the programmes as well as during the programmes. The charges for this facility will be Rs.10/- per one-way trip. Participants are requested to buy coupons from Hostel Reception for availing this facility.
An auto rickshaw can reach campus also. From Pune Railway Station a pre-paid auto rickshaw facility is available. The normal fare from Pune Railway Station to the campus would be approx. Rs.Rs.200/- (Meter + Half Return charges). This could be more if travel is undertaken at night.
However, it is advisable not to travel by auto rickshaw to the campus at late evening / night. Even 6 seater's autos are available at reasonable rate on sharing basis from Pune Municipal Corporation/University of Pune.
